Orgamax to Odoo. Professional migration with monobunt
As a division of Monobunt, we ourselves made the switch from the classic ERP Orgamax to Odoo before accompanying other companies on this journey. This step was not so much a technical changeover as a strategic decision for growth, efficiency and securing the future. Today, we manage all business areas centrally via Odoo and benefit from significantly simplified workflows and integrated processes.
The initial situation
Orgamax was a solid ERP system for us for a long time, but as we grew and the complexity of our projects increased, we increasingly reached its limits: The use of several separate tools led to data disruptions, scalability was limited, customization became costly and many processes were difficult to automate.
Our goal
We wanted a solution that would grow with us, be flexibly adaptable and connect all business areas. The decision was clearly made in favor of Odoo - a modular, open and modern ERP system that perfectly meets our requirements in terms of efficiency, design and future viability.
The implementation
Analysis & conception
First, we analyzed our existing processes, data structures and requirements in detail. It quickly became clear that Odoo was not just a replacement for Orgamax, but a tool for process optimization - an opportunity to rethink workflows.
Planning & project definition
Together as a team, we defined the scope of the migration, prioritized modules and created a realistic schedule. This phase was crucial in order to avoid hurdles later on.
Technical migration & customization
Transferring the data from Orgamax was technically challenging - especially with historical booking and customer data. However, with structured preparation, test imports and validations, we were able to integrate the data into Odoo completely and without errors. At the same time, processes were adapted to the Odoo logic and partially automated.
Test phase & training
Our team tested the system intensively to check all functions in real operation. This was followed by targeted training so that every department could use Odoo safely and efficiently.
